Brayden and Friends

Brayden has made lots of new friends lately. These are two girls from the park!
More of the ladies...
Connor is one of Brayden's favorite friends!!! We spent the day with him at the playground, Chick-fil-A and swimming!
Here is Brayden's swimming buddy, Madison, and her daddy Eric!

Playground!!!

There is an awesome park on Mainstreet in Parker and we recently decided to bring Brayden there. He loves going in the swing (a bit hesitant at first) and down the slide with Mommy!

Planting Trees and Brayden's Friend!

Brayden has met a new friend in swimming class, Madison. She and her parents came over for dinner and we let the kiddos play. They were fascinated with one another!

Brayden and Daddy snuggling while grocery shopping.
Since we have recently moved, and don't plan to leave again, we decided to plant some fruit trees! We planted an apple and a peach tree, but it will be about 5ish years before we see any fruit.

Brayden Laughing!

February Snapshots

Brayden having a little sleepy-snuggle with Mommy.

Brayden is finally taking to a few solid foods. Thus far he loves sweet potatoes and prunes. He will tolerate carrots and squash, but doesn't really care for green veggies yet- we are working on it!

Brayden's 7th Month!

Brayden and Mommy love to go visit bookstores. We get a bunch of books, a Starbucks (of course) and read! Here we are at a Barnes and Noble- just finished reading about Corduroy!

Out shopping with Brayden, we saw a cute car that he loved! He enjoyed honking the horn the most!
Meeting Auntie Kelly at Park Meadows Mall. This is our new favorite pastime since we now live so far away. I think we have that mall memorized!

Brayden is such a happy baby! Here he is playing with the wipes and diapers before getting changed!

BIG MAN!

Brayden is such a big man! Here he is in a new GAP shirt. Could he look more like his Daddy? Not only do they have identical faces, but now their clothes look alike too!

Brayden got this adorable new rocking chair from his Grandpa and Grandma for Christmas! He likes to sit up, so he enjoys rocking!

The Start of A New Year!

As we were putting away our Christmas decorations this morning, we came across a personalized card for Brayden shown above! How cute!
This is a picture of our yearly ornaments that we get from Lindsay's Uncle Bill. We have gotten one every year since we have been engaged. This is the newest one, adding Brayden!
Of course, what would a post be without our sweetheart? Here he is playing!

Locks of Love

Just this week, Lindsay decided to cut off 11 inches of hair to donate to Locks Of Love! Visit their website at : locksoflove.org to see how donated hair is used to create wigs for children, most of whom can't afford a wig on their own. If you are thinking about cutting your hair, check out how you can help someone in need! Even if you don't have the required 10 inches, they can still use your ponytail- they will sell it and use the money to offset their costs!

Christmas 2008

Yea for Brayden's 1st Christmas! Kyle's family came into town from Texas, so we decided to spend the week of Christmas with both our families in Colorado Springs. Before we left our house in Denver, we let Brayden open his stocking and most of his gifts from Mommy and Daddy. I think he may have loved the wrapping paper more than the presents!

Our family on Christmas morning- Brayden decked out in a Santa suit.
Opening his first set of presents at the Oliver house on Christmas morning.
Visiting with some of the family: Great-grandma Kay, Grams, Mommy, Grammy, and Great-Mimi!

We are so blessed by Brayden and were so happy to have him this Christmas!
