One of the best inventions for pregnant women is the "Snoogle Pillow." I invested in one several months ago and it really helps me sleep! Madison too has taken a liking to it...

Mother/Daughter-in-Law Day Out!

Today, Kyle's mom kindly treated me to lunch and to a pedicure! It was great timing seeing as I can't reach my toes to paint them anymore! :)

24 Weeks and Counting!!

For those of you who haven't heard, we have announced the baby's name:
Brayden Kelly Sawyer!Here are a few pictures of the belly as of a few days ago. The one below is something I have been waiting a long time to do!!
We went to the doctor today and everything is progressing nicely. Lindsay has successfully gained 11 pounds and is feeling pretty good. The plan is still to be induced at week 39 (around June 19th). Brayden is growing at the right rate and is strong and healthy! He definitely likes to kick Mommy a lot! The other night, we put a water bottle on Lindsay's belly and watched him kick it off. Kyle also likes to push down and feel Brayden respond with lots of pushing back!!

It's a BOY!!

Today we went to have an ultrasound and discovered that "Little," is a BOY!!! He is very healthy, weighs 13 oz and is very active! To celebrate, we went out and bought a bunch of new clothes for him. Here are a few of our favorites.

One Week to Go!!!

Well, in just one short week our waiting to know the baby's gender will come to an end! We are really hoping for a girl, but will be happy with whatever the Lord provides. We plan to go celebrate afterwards by buying the baby's outfit to come home in. Be looking for a new post soon!

If you have time and think of it...a few things to pray for:
1 *praise* Lindsay's testing for down syndrome, spinabifida, etc all came back normal!*
2. The baby has been pressing on Lindsay's sciatic nerve creating some very painful days. Last Monday, she had to stay sitting for the majority of the day to avoid shooting pains in her hip. :(
3. Today, Lindsay had an allergic reaction to split pea soup, which is odd. Pray for no more reactions!

16 Week Belly!

We went to the doctor last week for another monthly check-up and everything is progressing nicely. The baby is healthy thus far, and some tests were taken for down syndrome, spinabifida, etc. In just 4 short weeks, we get to find out the baby's gender! Keep checking, we'll keep you posted!

Little's Nursery!

Last weekend, my mom, sister, friend Steph, and Kyle's mom came over to paint the nursery! It is dark yellow on the bottom and light yellow on the top with cute animal wallpaper in the middle. It turned out so adorable!

11 Weeks Along!

We went to see the doctor today for our second check-up and he gave us this little plastic baby to show how big the baby is currently! It is about 1.75 inches. We also got to hear the heartbeat today!

Here is Lindsay's belly currently, with just a small bump. Not for long! Weight gain and maternity clothes should be coming soon!!!

CONSUMER ALERT FOR DOGS

Well, Kyle and I just spent a lovely $210.00 at the Emergency Vet because poor Georgia was bleeding on her neck and had 3 horrible bleeding burns marks where the prongs of her bark collar were touching her. We have used a bark collar before and it simply provided gentle correction, but that was NOT the case with the PET SAFE brand.

This collar was put on loosely and had only been on a short period of time, but caused incredible injuries to Georgia's neck. She now has an infection, is on antibiotics and regular pain medication. I was going to post the pictures that I am using to document this incident (when I call and give the company an earful) but they are very graphic and I am certain that no one wants to see what this poor dog has been though. Please spread the word so this doesn't happen to another dog!

7 Weeks Preggo!

Well, we went to the doctor's today to undergo a battery of tests... Lindsay is 7 weeks pregnant and is due on June 26, 2008! Or next appointment is on December 3rd, when we will hear the heartbeat. Then at 20 weeks, we will be able to determine the gender (mid-Feburary, maybe a Birthday present for Lindsay!).

Lindsay is feeling pretty good thus far...slight nausea when she wakes up, but it is gone as soon as she eats. Please Lord, let that continue!!!

We will keep you posted with "belly" pictures, and soon pictures of the nursery!

Lindsay is PREGNANT!!!

Well, you can't see it, but sure enough the little box reads "pregnant!" We are so excited! Lindsay has her first ultrsound on November 8th and will know the exact due date at that time! We'll keep you posted.

Basement Update

Well, the basement is coming along, and we will be so happy when the disaster area is completed!! The electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work have been completed, and the walls went up today!! Here is the main room that we will use for entertainment!
This leads to the hallway, bathroom and bedroom doors.
Here is the bathroom...Kyle and I are tiling the floor and shower walls this weekend.

Weekend Fun!

This weekend, Eric, Jason, Kelly, and I decided it was time for a trip to Denver's Museum of Science and Art. Here we are in the gift shop enjoying the vaiety of hats!
