Here are the bright travelers- after about 13 hours of driving! :)

I am not positive which state we were in when I took this picture, but it's pretty!

Entering Kentucky!

Here is the first law school that we visited in Atlanta, GA. This is the Emory school of law, close to downtown. We enjoyed this tour and got to sit in on a "Civil Procedures" class. I didn't quite follow everything, but when I looked over at Kyle, his eyes were gleaming and I could tell that he was trying hard not to raise his hand. We were discussing the topic of "interpleader," and he was following right along!

After visiting Emory, we went on to Georgia State University, but didn't like it at all, so it is left out. :)

Next we drove to Athens, GA to visit the University of Georgia. This is the entrance to the UGA Law Library. It encompassed two buildings and multiple floors!

The UGA campus was beautiful! Behind us in the picture, they were setting up for a wedding.

Driving in Alabama somewhere...

Here we are eating some delicious seafood: gumbo, shrimp, ponchatrain, stuffed crab, grilled oysters, etc...yum, yum!

When we left Georgia, we drove through Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, to get to Texas. Everything is gorgeous!

Here are the perky travelers! I think I just woke up from a nap!

On our way to Houston, we realized that it would only be an additional 15 miles to go through New Orleans. This is one of the bridges that leads you into the city.

These palm trees are all over!

On our way out of the city, we drove along aligator infested Lake Ponchatrain!

This is the main entrance at The University of Texas. We absolutley loved this school! Visit their website at:
www.utexas.edu/law.

This is the front of the Law building. Austin is not only the capitol of Texas, but it is also the center for the 5th District. The UT Law School has an actual courtroom for the 5th District and students can go listen in on court cases during the day!

We really enjoyed touring the UT campus. The tour was led by a student, so we got lots of useful information about the school. We also got to sit in on another class, "Criminal Defense."

After touring The University of Texas, we had a bit of time to kill. San Antonio is only an hour away, so we drove down to our favorite Mexican restaurant, "La Posada Del Rey," (The table of the King).

This town, "Kyle" is about 12 miles from Austin and is most likely where we will live!

While in Austin, we stayed with some friends, Brandon and Bonnie Rice, and this is their sweet little Yorkie, Maximus. He is so fun and loves to play fetch!

Now what would going to Texas be if not for Whataburger? Kyle was pretty good on this trip and we only went once, on our way home.

Here is a picture of us out to dinner one night. While in Texas, we also visited The University of Houston and Southern Methodist University in Dallas, but it looks like our number one choice is UT and then UGA.

While driving back to Colorado (and all over the US for that matter) we saw lots of semi's and most of them had neat sayings on the back of their truck!
We are glad to be back in Colorado, but not for long! Kyle begins LSAT's in just a short time, and will begin the application processes in early fall. Looks like we are outa here in a year!
